What You Will Be Doing

• Creating highly precise Academic Data Reports and performing systematic evaluations to identify issues, detect irregularities, and initiate corrective action within 48 hours
• Leading urgent intervention calls and facilitating post-assessment coaching to eliminate obstacles, distinguish knowledge deficits from simple errors, and sustain student engagement
• Assessing and integrating new educational applications and materials while developing AI/LLM prototypes to advance learning methodologies and address targeted challenges
• Collaborating with leadership to optimize tools, dashboards, and mastery benchmarks as the AI tutor platform advances

• Attending marathon meetings or delivering generic presentations disconnected from measurable results
• Grading assignments, drafting lesson plans, or administering conventional educational programs—AI and innovation power our approach
• Working solely at the strategic level without execution or becoming mired in repetitive duties—this position is tactical and fluid
  

Instructional Designer Key Responsibilities
Enhance student learning outcomes through AI-powered analysis and immediate academic intelligence, evidenced by improved indicators such as 2× learning velocity, application engagement, lesson comprehension, response accuracy, and diminished negative learning behaviors throughout the Alpha Anywhere network.
Basic Requirements

• Proven experience in data science or similar capacity, education, EdTech, or a student-facing role combining analytical and relational skills
• Competence in Google Sheets data operations (lookups, pivot tables, filtering)
• Strong emotional intelligence, effective communication abilities, and a coaching approach suitable for children
• Track record of creating workflows and automations using AI
  

Nice-to-have Requirements

• Foundation in learning science, pedagogical theory, or verified success enhancing outcomes via data-informed methods
• Familiarity with Generative AI, prompt engineering, and introductory coding capabilities (Python, JavaScript, etc.) for interfacing with AI APIs

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $30 USD/hour, which equates to $60,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
