Human Resources Chief

HR Chief – Ghana

We are seeking an experienced and strategic HR Chief to lead and oversee our HR operations in Ghana. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in production/manufacturing environments within multinational companies and possess strong leadership capabilities to manage both operational and strategic HR initiatives in a dynamic setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the full spectrum of HR operations for production and support functions
• Execute HR strategies aligned with business objectives
• Manage recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning at all levels
• Ensure smooth integration and retention of employees across the plant
• Oversee employee relations, disciplinary processes, and grievance management in line with internal policies and Ghanaian labor law
• Lead the performance management process, providing guidance to managers and ensuring alignment with organizational goals
• Identify talent development needs, coordinate advanced training programs, and monitor succession planning
• Prepare, analyze, and present comprehensive HR reports to senior management
• Ensure compliance with Ghanaian labor legislation, internal procedures, and global HR standards
• Promote employee engagement, organizational culture, and change management initiatives
• Support HR budgeting and cost management, ensuring optimal resource allocation
• Manage the payroll cycle

Qualifications

• University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• Minimum 8–10 years of progressive HR experience, including leadership roles in production/manufacturing environments
• Proven experience in multinational companies
• In-depth knowledge of Ghanaian labor law and payroll systems
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• High level of professionalism, discretion, and respect for confidentiality
