Reports to the Human Resources Manager
Scope
The HR Officer must have a clear understanding of core functions of HR management & development and should have the ability to provide strategic HR support.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the formulation and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Assist in recruitment and selection.
- Assist in the handling of staff development and management issues.
- Assist with Industrial Relations issues.
- Coordinate of all HR matters relating to employees' records.
- Coordinate of staff performance management processes.
- Preparation of reports as requested by the HRM.
- Any other duties that may be assigned.
Qualification Required & Experience
- Applicant must possess a Bachelor of Arts or Science degree in HRM from a reputable institution.
- A minimum of three years post qualification work experience.
- Certification by a relevant professional institute, would be an added advantage.
- Competencies:
- Proficiency of computer skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Good verbal and written communication skill
- Ability to work in team environment
- Good people management skills
