Role Overview
The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation across all assigned areas within the property.
This is a hands-on operational role, requiring attention to detail, discipline, and consistency. The role plays a key part in ensuring a premium, well-maintained living environment at all times.
Key Responsibilities1. Cleaning & Daily Operations
- Perform cleaning of assigned areas, including:
- Lobby and reception areas
- Corridors and common areas
- Amenities (gym, pool area, lounges, etc.)
- Clean residential units as assigned (if applicable)
- Ensure all areas are kept clean throughout the day, not just once per shift
2. Standards & Quality
- Follow company cleaning procedures and standards strictly
- Ensure no visible dirt, dust, stains, or unpleasant odors
- Pay attention to details such as:
- Glass surfaces
- Corners and edges
- High-touch points (handles, switches, railings)
- Report any damage, defects, or maintenance issues observed
3. Discipline & Work Attitude
- Be punctual and follow assigned duty schedules
- Maintain consistent performance — not dependent on supervision
- Follow instructions from the Housekeeping Supervisor
- Maintain a professional attitude at all times
4. Use of Materials & Equipment
- Use cleaning materials and chemicals properly
- Avoid wastage and misuse of supplies
- Ensure cleaning tools are kept in good condition
- Store materials safely after use
5. Health & Safety
- Follow hygiene and safety procedures
- Use chemicals carefully and as instructed
- Maintain a safe working environment
Requirements
- Minimum 1–3 years experience in cleaning / housekeeping
- (hotel, residential, or commercial environment preferred)
- Basic understanding of cleaning methods and materials
- Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks
- Ability to follow instructions and work with discipline
- Basic English communication is an advantage
