Role Description

This is a full-time and on-site role based in Accra for the Head of Human Resources at Four Points® by Sheraton Accra Kotoka Airport. The Head of Human Resources will oversee the hotel’s HR department, ensuring alignment with corporate policies and local labor laws. Responsibilities include developing and implementing effective HR strategies, managing employee relations, overseeing recruitment and staffing, ensuring compliance with labor regulations, and maintaining a positive workplace culture to support operational excellence and employee engagement.


Qualifications


  • Strong knowledge and experience in Human Resources and HR Management
  • Proficiency in Labor and Employment Law and a demonstrated ability to ensure legal compliance
  • Expertise in creating and implementing HR Policies
  • Proven ability to manage Employee Relations and foster a positive workplace culture
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience within the hospitality industry, preferably with Marriott properties, is highly preferred
  • Knowledge and expertise in HR information systems, Bayan, Jana system etc.
  • Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required; professional certification in HR is a plus
