Role Description This is a full-time, on-site General Manager role based in Accra. The General Manager oversees all daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures, staff scheduling, inventory management, and quality control. The role is responsible for leading and coaching team members, ensuring consistent food safety and hygiene standards, and delivering excellent guest service during all shifts. The General Manager monitors sales performance, manages cost controls, and implements initiatives to increase revenue and profitability. This role also handles employee performance reviews, supports hiring and training, resolves customer concerns, and ensures compliance with company policies and local regulations.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in restaurant or hospitality management, preferably in a fast food or quick-service environment.
  • Strong people leadership skills, including team supervision, coaching, conflict resolution, and performance management.
  • Solid operational skills in scheduling, inventory control, cash handling, and basic financial reporting.
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to handle guest feedback, complaints, and high-volume service periods calmly and professionally.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards, hygiene protocols, and health and safety regulations.
  • Effective communication and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Comfort using point-of-sale systems and basic office software for reporting and scheduling.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Relevant diploma or degree in hospitality, business, or a related field is an advantage, as is prior experience managing a team in Accra or similar markets.
