Role Descriptions This is a full-time, on-site Executive Chef & Chef de Partie roles based in Accra. The position involves leading pastry and kitchen operations, including planning menus, overseeing food preparation and baking, and ensuring high-quality culinary standards. Both positions will supervise and train kitchen staff, maintain food safety and hygiene protocols, manage inventory and cost control, and coordinate with management to support overall guest satisfaction. The role also includes creating innovative pastry items and dishes, optimising kitchen workflows, and upholding consistent presentation and taste across all offerings.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in food preparation techniques. Bakery and Baking, with the ability to produce a wide range of pastries, breads, and desserts.
- Advanced Culinary Skills and Cooking abilities, including food preparation and plating for diverse menus.
- Certificate or Diploma in Culinary Arts.
- Minimum 2–4 years' experience as a Executive Chef / Chef de Partie.
- Experience in a hotel or high-volume restaurant environment.
- Proven experience in food preparation management, including portion control, quality assurance, and kitchen organisation.
- Background in leading kitchen teams, mentoring staff, and coordinating schedules in a fast-paced environment.
- Plan and oversee banquet, conference, and special event catering.
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and regulatory compliance within professional kitchens, Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards.
- Excellent time management, communication, and collaboration skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Previous experience as an Executive Chef/ Chef de Partie, or similar leadership role in hospitality or fine dining.
- Culinary diploma or equivalent professional training; international exposure or certification is an advantage
