Role Summary
The Technical Maintenance & Troubleshooting Technician will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and uptime of production equipment across the factory. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis, repairs, and continuous improvement of production machinery to minimize downtime and support efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
Maintenance & Equipment Reliability
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on production and printing equipment.
- Conduct daily inspections to identify and address potential equipment failures.
- Maintain maintenance schedules, service records, and equipment logs.
- Ensure machines operate at optimal efficiency and reliability.
Troubleshooting & Repairs
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, software, and equipment-related faults.
- Respond promptly to machine breakdowns and production stoppages.
- Coordinate major repairs with external service providers and equipment suppliers when required.
- Maintain critical spare parts inventory and recommend replacement requirements.
Production Support
- Provide technical support to machine operators and production teams.
- Assist with machine setup, calibration, testing, and commissioning.
- Identify opportunities to improve equipment performance and reduce downtime.
- Support implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintenance best practices.
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety standards.
- Promote safe operation of machinery and equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe maintenance work area.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma, Technical Certification, or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Experience with manufacturing, textile, printing, or production machinery preferred.
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and equipment documentation.
- Experience with preventive maintenance systems and maintenance reporting.

- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and root-cause analysis capabilities.
- Hands-on maintenance and repair experience.
