Role Description The Education Operations Manager is a contract, hybrid role based in Accra, with flexibility for some work from home. This role oversees day-to-day academic and operational activities, including scheduling programs, coordinating classes, and ensuring smooth delivery of gifted curricula and enrichment initiatives. The Education Operations Manager collaborates with educators and mentors to implement learning plans, track student progress, and maintain quality standards across all educational offerings. Responsibilities include managing communication with families and partners, organizing events and workshops, handling basic data and reporting, and supporting continuous improvement of program processes. The role also involves ensuring compliance with internal policies, optimizing resource use, and contributing to strategic planning for PGEG’s growth and impact.

Qualifications

  • Program and operations management skills, including experience coordinating educational activities, schedules, and resources.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills to oversee multiple initiatives and deadlines.
  • Communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage educators, families, students, and partners professionally.
  • Data and reporting skills, including basic proficiency with spreadsheets or education management tools to track progress and outcomes.
  • Background or strong interest in education, gifted education, or curriculum support, preferably with experience in a school or learning program setting.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment, demonstrating reliability, initiative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Educational Administration, Psychology, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of the Ghanaian education context and familiarity with Accra-based schools or learning communities is an advantage.
