Job summary
A growing haulage and logistics company in Greater Accra is seeking experienced and dependable Professional Drivers across three categories: (i) 32 Cubic Semi-Trailer Drivers (River Sand Operations) (ii)15–25 Ton Box Truck Drivers (iii)20–22 Cubic Tipper Truck Drivers. Because some of the vehicles in the fleet are slightly older, all drivers must be mechanically inclined and able to perform basic mechanical assessments and minor repairs to keep operations running smoothly.

CATEGORY 1: 32-Cubic Semi-Trailer Driver (River Sand Operations)
Responsibilities
- Operate a 32m³ semi-trailer for river sand and aggregate haulage.
- Bring in haulage jobs independently.
- Deliver materials safely and on schedule.
- Perform basic mechanical troubleshooting and minor roadside repairs due to the age of vehicle.
- Maintain accurate logs (fuel, mileage, servicing).
- Ensure the vehicle is serviced, fueled, and roadworthy.
- Report mechanical issues promptly
- Follow all haulage and road safety regulations.
Requirements
- Valid Ghana commercial driver’s license for trailers.
- Minimum 5 years’ semi-trailer experience, especially in river sand operations.
- Must live in Tema, Afienya, or nearby Greater Accra areas.
- Must be mechanically inclined and able to identify and address basic mechanical issues.
- Proven track record of sourcing jobs.
- Professional, punctual, and reliable.
- Physically capable of loading/unloading support when needed.
CATEGORY 2: 15–25 Ton Box Truck Driver
Responsibilities
- Operate a 15–25 ton box truck safely and efficiently.
- Handle client deliveries and haulage assignments.
- Source or bring in haulage jobs (preferred).
- Conduct basic mechanical checks and minor repairs on older model trucks when required.
- Maintain logs for fuel, mileage, and maintenance.
- Keep the truck clean, serviced, and in good condition.
- Uphold strong professionalism and safe driving standards.
Requirements
- Valid Ghana commercial driver’s license for heavy-duty box trucks.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience driving 15–25 ton trucks.
- Must live in Tema or surrounding areas.
- Must be mechanically inclined and capable of handling simple mechanical challenges on older vehicles.
- Prior experience delivering goods nationwide, including:
- Accra Central
- Cape Coast
- Takwa (Tarkwa)
- Kumasi
- Bolgatanga
- Wa
- Strong ability to source jobs is an advantage.
- Organized, reliable, and safety-focused.
- Able to assist with loading/unloading when necessary.
CATEGORY 3: 20–22 Cubic Tipper Truck Driver
Responsibilities
- Operate 20–22 cubic tipper trucks for quarry materials, sand, and construction supply.
- Load and deliver materials safely and punctually.
- Perform basic mechanical troubleshooting and minor repairs due to the age of the trucks.
- Maintain accurate records for fuel, mileage, and servicing.
- Ensure the truck is clean, serviced, and always roadworthy.
- Follow all quarry, haulage, and road safety regulations.
- Communicate efficiently with dispatch and clients.
- Maintain or source additional haulage opportunities.
Requirements
- Valid Ghana commercial driver’s license for heavy-duty tipper trucks.
- Minimum 5 years’ proven experience operating 20–22 cubic tippers.
- Experience working in Kasoa, Nsawam, Tema, Afienya routes preferred.
- Must be mechanically inclined and able to manage minor repairs on older vehicles independently.
- Ability to bring in haulage jobs is a strong advantage
- Professional, reliable, safety-conscious.
- Physically capable of assisting as needed.
Working Hours: 7:00am – 4:30pm (Additional hours may be required based on haulage schedules)
Salary and Benefits
- GH₵ 1,500 – 2,500
- Chop Money (based on experience)
