A growing technology and infrastructure-focused organization is seeking a Business Development Director to lead strategic growth initiatives, drive new business opportunities, and manage key client relationships across multiple sectors.
This is a highly visible role reporting directly to the Group CEO and combining strategic business development, commercial leadership, and long-term partnership management.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities aligned with the company’s strategic goals across multiple sectors.
• Lead the full business development and sales cycle, including relationship development, negotiations, and execution of commercial agreements.
• Initiate, develop, and oversee strategic projects from early-stage opportunity through successful implementation.
• Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with key clients, partners, and decision-makers.
• Manage customer relationships across business, marketing, sales, and public-facing activities to ensure high levels of satisfaction and collaboration.
• Support post-sale relationship management and help drive future growth opportunities within existing accounts.
• Oversee and support collection processes related to active projects and commercial engagements.
• In the coming months, this role will also oversee the transition of operational responsibilities for the security sector into the commercial division.
Requirements
• Proven experience in business development, commercial leadership, or strategic sales roles.
• Strong negotiation and relationship management skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Experience managing complex projects and leading cross-functional initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to identify, develop, and close new business opportunities.
• Strong commercial and financial understanding, including revenue growth and profitability management.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on in execution.
