We are looking for a talented Cross Border General Manager to join our team and provide overall general management leadership, with accountability for regional Cross Border Business and dealer performance within our Distribution Business Unit in Accra, Ghana.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways :

Drive profitable growth and operational excellence: Owning full P&L for the Cross Border Business, ensuring balanced scorecard targets are consistently achieved or exceeded

Drive high performance across crossborder markets by strengthening dealer and partner capabilities, shaping effective gotomarket execution, and ensuring consistent delivery for customers operating in complex environments

Translate long-term strategy into short term execution: Developing and delivering business plans aligned to Cummins business unit goals.

Lead and integrate commercial, service, supply chain, and governance priorities to support sustainable growth, proactively manage risk, and elevate execution standards across the region

Strengthen customer relationships and satisfaction: Proactively partnering with customers to understand current and future needs and drive continuous improvement.

Anticipate and resolve cross functional challenges: Coordinating across teams to remove barriers that could impact organizational performance or customer outcomes.

Embed continuous improvement and Six Sigma practices: To improve efficiency, quality, and cost performance across the organization.

Develop high performing teams and future leaders: Through clear performance expectations, targeted development, and career planning for Supervisors and Individual Contributors.

Expand Cummins market presence and opportunity pipeline: Identifying new business opportunities while leveraging deep understanding of regional dynamics and Cummins global products and capabilities.

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

Strong cross border business leadership capability: with proven experience leading multi-country portfolios, owning strategy deployment, execution readiness, and business outcomes across diverse markets.

Deep expertise in mining and power generation customer environments: With a strong understanding of uptime, safety, service readiness, and lifecycle support expectations across greenfield and brownfield projects.

Ability to lead market entry, growth strategy, and distribution performance: Including shaping go-tomarket approaches, aligning sales, service, supply chain and dealer capabilities, and decisively managing partner performance and corrective actions where required

Fluency in French and cultural agility: Enabling confident engagement with customers, dealers, partners, regulators, and key stakeholders across French speaking regions.

Education/ Experience

College, university, or equivalent degree required in Business Administration, Engineering, or related subject required.

French Language capability required

Significant relevant experience required, including managerial, channel development, customer, and budgetary experience.
