Role Description The Construction Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Accra, responsible for overseeing residential development projects from planning through completion. This role coordinates daily construction activities, supervises site teams and subcontractors, and ensures that work is executed in accordance with design specifications, quality standards, timelines, and budgets. The Construction Manager monitors construction safety practices, conducts regular site inspections, and enforces compliance with local regulations and company policies. The role includes preparing progress reports, managing project documentation, supporting procurement of materials and services, and collaborating with architect, engineers, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and keep projects on track.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 7years work experience
  • Strong supervisory skills, including team leadership, task delegation, and performance monitoring.
  • Experience in budgeting, cost estimation, and financial tracking for construction projects.
  • Knowledge of construction safety standards, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
  • Hands-on experience in construction methods, materials, and site operations.
  • Competence in project control, including scheduling, progress tracking, and change management.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficiency with construction management software and MS Office tools.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven experience managing residential or real estate development projects in Ghana or similar markets is an advantage.
  • Experience in Ghana's real estate industry is a plus
