Role Description The Cafe Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of Pink Panda Bakery’s café in Accra in a full-time, on-site capacity. This role includes managing staff schedules, supervising front-of-house and food service activities, and ensuring that customer service standards are consistently met. The Cafe Manager monitors product quality, coordinates with the kitchen on food and beverage offerings, and maintains cleanliness and safety across the café. Additional responsibilities include managing inventory and supplier orders, supporting sales initiatives, handling cash and point-of-sale systems, and addressing customer feedback. The Cafe Manager also trains and coaches team members, supports compliance with health and safety regulations, and contributes to local marketing and promotional efforts.

Qualifications

• Strong Customer Service and Communication skills to engage guests, resolve issues, and lead team interactions effectively.
• Experience in Food & Beverage and Food Service operations, including café or restaurant environments and basic food safety practices.
• Sales skills with the ability to promote menu items, increase average ticket size, and support revenue growth.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience in hospitality or retail.
• Solid organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail in scheduling, inventory, and cash handling.
• Ability to work on-site in Accra with a flexible schedule, including weekends and peak hours.
• Knowledge of local health, safety, and hygiene standards; certification in food safety is an advantage.
• Basic proficiency in point-of-sale systems and familiarity with café operations; experience with small business marketing is a plus.
