About the Role
Persol Systems Limited is looking for a high-energy, motivated Business Development Executive to support our sales growth and market expansion. This is an entry-to-mid-level role designed for a professional eager to build a career in technology sales. You will be responsible for identifying new leads, supporting the senior sales team in client presentations, and learning to manage the full sales lifecycle for our ERP, Payroll, Identity Management and Fintech solutions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Generation & Prospecting
· Actively identify and research potential corporate clients through cold calling, LinkedIn networking,
and industry databases.
· Qualify inbound inquiries to ensure they meet Persol’s ideal client profile.
· Maintain an organized database of prospects within the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system.
2. Sales Support & Presentations
· Assist senior BDEs in preparing tailored proposals, pitch decks, and technical demonstrations.
· Within 3 to 4 months of being hired you should be able to demonstrate at least 2 of our software
products independently and ultimately with 6 to 9 months be able to demonstrate all our software
products.
· Coordinate and schedule meetings between prospective clients and our technical/implementation
teams.
· Represent Persol at local networking events and trade exhibitions to gather leads and build brand
awareness.
3. Client Relationship Management
· Act as the primary point of contact for prospective clients during the initial discovery phase.
· Follow up consistently with leads to move them through the sales funnel.
· Support the onboarding process for new clients to ensure a smooth transition to the implementation
team.
4. Reporting & Market Feedback
· Keep a detailed log of all sales activities and provide weekly reports on lead status and conversion
rates.
· Gather feedback from the market regarding competitor pricing and feature requests to help inform
our product roadmap.
Qualifications & Skills
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related
field.
· Experience: 1–3 years of experience in sales, telemarketing, or customer-facing roles (experience in a
tech environment is a major plus).
· Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English; ability to speak local
Ghanaian languages is an advantage.
· Tech Savvy: Comfortable using CRM tools (like MS Dynamics, HubSpot or Salesforce) and Microsoft
Office Suite (especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
· Attitude: A "hunter" mindset with the resilience to handle cold-call rejections and the drive to meet
monthly targets.
· Learning Agility: Ability to quickly learn the technical features of Persol’s software products (ERP,
HR/Payroll, and 360Pay).
· Professionalism: Strong organizational skills and the ability to represent a leading brand to C-level
assistants and managers.

· Sales target achievement: Achieve or exceed assigned sales targets.

· Sales pipeline growth: Increase the number and value of qualified leads in the sales pipeline.
· Lead conversion rate: Improve the percentage of leads that are converted into paying customers.
· Average deal size: Increase the average revenue generated per new client or deal.
