Job Summary
As an automation test engineer on our team, you’ll work with engineers to evaluate software developed for national defense. You’ll work on building a test plan with test cases based on user stories. Using automation to streamline, you’ll generate data and execute the test cases to see how the software performs, then document the results and communicate defects to the development team so they can start improving the tool. You’ll automate continuous security and performance testing and monitor the health of an architecture governance process. This is an opportunity to leverage your skills by writing the code to test the code. You’ll also further your experience in cybersecurity and explore new areas like automation and cloud computing.

Job Description/Requirements
Nice To Have:
- 5+ years of experience working in a technical environment
- 3+ years of experience with automating tests for web applications
- 3+ years of experience using testing frameworks
- 3+ years of experience conducting regression testing, unit testing, or release testing
- 2+ years of experience using project management software, including Jira and Confluence, to track and facilitate team operations
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and Agile team facilitation or Scrum Master duties
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- HS diploma or GED
Nice If You Have:
- 2+ years of experience with HTML, CSS, XML, or JSON
- 2+ years of experience automating tests for APIs such as Katalon or Selenium
- Experience with Jenkins, GitHub, GitLab, or similar tool
- Experience leading and guiding a technical team and coordinating with customer stakeholders
- Knowledge of the software development life cycle, DevOps automation practices, advanced programming techniques, and Java debugging
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills, including writing and maintaining technical documents
