• Job Title: Aircraft Maintenance Planner
• Department: Maintenance & Engineering
• Reports to: Head of Maintenance & Engineering
• Location: Head Office, Accra
  

Job Purpose
To track, schedule, and prepare work packages as well as coordinating the accomplishment of aircraft maintenance requirements in designated maintenance stations.
Key Accountabilities/Responsibility

• Plan all short-term maintenance requirements, time-limited component changes, and MEL deferrals.
• Coordinate with Base Planning, Materials, and AWA designated Maintenance Station personnel to integrate non-routine and MEL deferrals into scheduled Line Maintenance events
• Coordinate with appropriate AWA designated Maintenance Station management to develop daily work packages, set priorities, and establish effective Maintenance Station work loading.
• Develop work packages (job instruction cards) for AWA designated Maintenance Stations, taking into account requirements such as maintenance skills, tools, and materials.

Qualification Required & Experience

• University graduate with a degree in a relevant field
• At least two (2) years of previous experience
• Experience on commercial jet aircraft. (Corporate Aviation is preferable, Commercial Airline is acceptable).
