Job Summary
The Sales Officer is responsible for driving sales growth, managing customer relationships, monitoring market trends, and ensuring timely collection of customer payments. The role focuses on developing business opportunities within the steel, roofing, cement, and construction materials market while maintaining strong customer satisfaction and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers to achieve sales targets.
- Follow up on customer orders, deliveries, and outstanding payments to ensure timely collections.
- Conduct regular customer visits to identify business opportunities and strengthen customer relationships.
- Collect and monitor competitor pricing and market information to support sales strategies.
- Promote the company's steel, roofing, cement, and other construction products to customers.
- Prepare sales reports, customer feedback, and market intelligence reports for management.
- Resolve customer concerns and coordinate with internal departments to ensure excellent service delivery.
- Perform other sales and business development duties assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-3 years' sales experience.
- Experience in the steel, roofing, cement, construction materials, or related industry is required.
- Familiarity with the Central Market and surrounding business environment is an advantage.
