Job summary
American AutoParts Ltd (AA), a leading automobile company is inviting applications from qualified and detail-driven Accountants to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will support our multi-branch operations and contribute directly to financial reporting, controls, and statutory compliance.
Job descriptions & requirements
- Maintain accurate accounting records and capture daily financial transactions
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and management reports
- Perform bank, cash book, and supplier reconciliations
- Monitor daily cash collections and branch revenue reports
- Strengthen and enforce internal control systems across branches and outlets
- Maintain proper stock and cost accounting records
- Participate in stock counts and investigate variances
- Prepare and file statutory returns (VAT, PAYE, SSNIT, Withholding Tax)
- Support external audits and respond to audit queries
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including follow-ups on outstanding debts
- Assist with process improvements and accounting system implementations
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Must be a full certified accountant ICAG, ACCA, or CIMA is required.
- Minimum of 7 years’ relevant accounting or finance experience
- Experience in retail, automotive, distribution, or multi-branch operations is a plus
- Strong knowledge of Ghanaian tax and statutory regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- High integrity, strong attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
