Welder

Job Responsibilities (Welder)

• Perform welding tasks using MIG, TIG, ARC, or gas welding techniques
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols
• Cut, shape, and join metal parts according to specifications
• Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and structural integrity
• Carry out repair and maintenance welding on equipment and structures
• Operate welding and cutting equipment safely and efficiently
• Follow health, safety, and welding standards at all times
• Maintain welding tools and equipment in good working condition

Job Requirements / Qualifications

Proven experience as a welder in industrial, construction, or workshop environments

Ability to use different welding techniques (MIG/TIG/ARC)

Ability to read technical drawings and measurements

Knowledge of welding safety procedures and PPE usage

Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail

Physical fitness to work in demanding environments

Welding certification is an advantage (if required)

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
