Warehouse Specialist
Job descriptions & requirements
Job Duty:
Manage daily warehouse operations including receiving, issuing, and storing materials
Verify quantity, specification, and quality of incoming and outgoing goods to ensure accuracy
Maintain accurate inventory records and update ERP/WMS systems in a timely manner
Conduct regular stock counts (cycle counts and annual inventory audits) to ensure stock accuracy
Organize and label raw materials, semi-finished goods, and finished products properly
Supervise loading and unloading activities to ensure safe material handling
Apply FIFO/FEFO inventory management principles
Coordinate with production departments to ensure timely material supply
Investigate and report inventory discrepancies and variances
Maintain 5S standards in the warehouse (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain)
Ensure compliance with warehouse safety and HSE regulations
Prepare inventory reports and other warehouse-related documentation
Qualification:
- Secondary school certificate, diploma, or higher in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations in a manufacturing environment
- Good understanding of warehouse management processes and inventory control systems
- Experience with ERP/WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, etc. is an advantage)
- Knowledge of FIFO/FEFO inventory management principles
- Strong data entry, record keeping, and analytical skills
- Familiar with warehouse safety standards and HSE compliance
- Detail-oriented, responsible, and organized
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Able to work in a manufacturing environment and handle physical tasks when required
