Stipend: GHS 500 per month
Schedule: Part-Time or Full-Time, depending on availability (US time zone)
About the Role
Virtual IP is a US-based IT consulting firm looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor Intern based in Ghana to support the creation of engaging video content for social media channels. This role is ideal for a student or early-career creative who wants practical experience working on real business content and building a stronger professional portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit short-form and long-form video content for social media and marketing.
- Create engaging videos for platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Add transitions, subtitles, captions, music, graphics, and basic motion effects.
- Turn raw footage into clean, professional, and visually engaging videos.
- Resize and optimize videos for different social media platforms.
- Assist with creating promotional videos, reels, company videos, and educational content.
- Follow brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual style.
- Organize video files, raw footage, and completed projects.
- Make revisions based on feedback from the marketing and management teams.
- Support other basic creative and multimedia tasks when required.
Requirements
- Currently studying or recently completed a program in Media, Film, Graphic Design, Multimedia, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Basic to intermediate video editing skills.
- Familiarity with tools such as:
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- CapCut
- DaVinci Resolve
- After Effects or similar tools
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- A portfolio or sample of previous video editing work is preferred
