Role Description This is an in-person contract role for a Video Editor at Talk No Dey Cook Rice Studios. The Video Editor will work closely with creative leads to cut, assemble, and refine video content for various campaigns, social platforms, and brand projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include organizing footage, selecting key scenes, editing sequences, adding transitions, sound, and basic effects, and preparing deliverables for different formats and channels. The role also involves collaborating on visual concepts, applying consistent brand guidelines, and integrating motion graphics and color grading to enhance storytelling. The Video Editor is expected to manage timelines, maintain clear communication with the team, and ensure all videos meet quality standards and project objectives.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing for short-form and long-form content.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure visual consistency and enhance brand storytelling.
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create engaging titles, overlays, and branded visual elements.
- Proficiency with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and motion design tools (e.g., After Effects) is beneficial.
- Strong storytelling ability, attention to detail, and an understanding of social media and digital content formats are preferred.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple deadlines, and collaborate effectively with creative and strategy teams is required.
- Previous experience in a creative agency, production studio, or similar environment, and a portfolio showcasing relevant work will be an advantage.
