Role Description This full-time Teaching Internship offers aspiring educators the opportunity to gain structured classroom experience in an on-site setting located in Kumasi. Interns will assist lead teachers with lesson delivery, classroom management, and student engagement in alignment with the school’s Cambridge-based curriculum. Daily tasks include supporting lesson preparation, helping to facilitate learning activities, providing individual or small-group support to students, and contributing to homework review and basic assessment tasks under supervision. Interns will also participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events, while receiving mentorship and feedback to develop their professional teaching skills. The role is designed to build foundational experience in teaching practice, education technology use, and effective communication with students, colleagues, and families.
Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Education and Teaching, with a demonstrated interest in working with learners aged 9 to 19.
  • Ability to plan and support Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development in line with school and Cambridge standards.
  • Clear, respectful Communication skills for interacting with students, families, and staff.
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree, diploma, or recognized training in Education or a related subject area.
  • Organizational skills, reliability, and willingness to learn from feedback in a structured school environment.
  • Comfort working on-site in Kumasi and collaborating within a diverse, multicultural school community.
  • Familiarity with Cambridge curricula or international school settings is an advantage.
