Role Description This is a full-time, on-site swimming pool construction role based in Kumasi. The role involves assisting with the full construction cycle, including site preparation, excavation, structural work, plumbing installation, and finishing tasks such as tiling and decking. Responsibilities include following technical drawings, adhering to safety procedures, using construction tools and equipment, and supporting inspections to ensure work meets quality and compliance standards. The team member will collaborate closely with supervisors, architects, and other trades to keep projects on schedule and within budget. The role also requires maintaining a clean work area, reporting progress, and responding to client or site queries in a professional manner.
Qualifications

• Construction skills, including pool building, basic masonry, and familiarity with site preparation and structural work.
• Architecture-related skills, such as reading and interpreting plans, drawings, and specifications relevant to pool design.
• Budgeting and project cost awareness skills to support material planning and efficient resource use.
• Inspection skills to help verify workmanship, safety compliance, and adherence to construction standards.
• Microsoft Office skills for basic documentation, reporting, and communication (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong attention to detail, safety-conscious mindset, and ability to follow instructions and established procedures.
• Effective teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work outdoors and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Previous experience in construction, civil works, or pool installation is an advantage; relevant technical certification or trade qualification is beneficial.
