Job summary

A Real Estate Company is seeking a competent and experienced Surveyor to undertake land surveying, mapping, data collection, and related geomatics activities. The successful candidate should be able to work independently, meet project deadlines, and deliver accurate survey results with minimal supervision.

Job descriptions & requirements

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct land, topographic, engineering, and construction surveys.
  • Operate GNSS receivers, Total Stations, levelling instruments, and other surveying equipment.
  • Carry out RTK, PPK, Static GNSS, traversing, and levelling surveys.
  • Operate drones/UAVs for aerial surveying and mapping.
  • Process drone and survey data to produce topographic maps, plans, and 3D models.
  • Perform survey data processing, analysis, calculations, and quality control.
  • Prepare survey drawings and plans using relevant CAD and GIS software.
  • Maintain accurate field notes, survey records, and project documentation.
  • Work effectively both independently and as part of a surveying/engineering team.

Required Qualifications
  • Degree in Surveying, Surveying & Mapping, Geomatics, or Geomatic Engineering.
  • An advanced qualification in Geomatic Engineering, Geomatics, Surveying, GIS, Remote Sensing, or a related field will be an added advantage.
  • Relevant professional certification/registration will be an advantage.

Required Skills & Technical Competencies
  • Practical knowledge of Trimble, Topcon, and CHC GNSS equipment.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Topcon Tools, QGIS, Agisoft Meta shape Professional, and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to operate drones and process UAV data for mapping.
  • Strong knowledge of RTK, PPK, Static GNSS, Total Station, and levelling techniques.
  • Ability to execute surveying tasks accurately, efficiently, and with little or no supervision.
  • Good analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work under field conditions and meet project deadlines.
