Job Title: Supplier Performance Manager
Job Location: Accra, Greater Accra
Job Summary
- Lead team where appropriate
- Manage appropriate operational and financial performance relationships with suppliers
- Implement and embed Supplier Performance Management framework to ensure that contracts deliver value through cost reduction and improved service and quality performance
- Ensure that Supplier Performance levels continue to improve to meet wider Diageo needs and support key projects & initiatives
- Lead the end-to-end management of Local categories
Job Description
- Lead, inspire, grow and develop the team, where applicable, through P4G and iDevelop processes, bringing to life through amazing coaching
- Identification and delivery of cost reduction/value enhancement initiatives within Category
- Lead cross functional supplier management teams to drive performance and align priorities to stakeholder requirements
- Manage suppliers to deliver targeted Service and Quality levels and drive continuous improvement agenda
- Input stakeholder and performance needs to global sourcing activities and strategy development as appropriate
- Lead sourcing and associated negotiation and contracting aligned to the category strategy for Glocal categories
- Lead management of Local categories
- Ensure compliance to all governance requirements e.g. contracts, KYBP, Partnering with Suppliers. Sedex etc
Qualifications and Requirements
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated commercial acumen
- 3 to 5 years procurement experience in managing suppliers
- Proven track record of consistent performance and delivery (what & how of performance)
- Proven influencing skills and personal impact to gain credibility quickly with stakeholders
- Strong executional capability aligned with ability to understand and interpret strategy
- Strong coaching capability and ability to prioritise and manage a varied agenda
- Has experience of working within the Performance Management structure of KPIs and Tier Review Meeting Structure
- Has a proven track record in adherence to Core Process and Standards
- Demonstrates role model behaviour and coaches others across Categories and Markets to follow a consistent approach and go beyond mandatory minimum requirements
- Proactively leverages the learning curriculums and materials on Diageo Academy and other sources to continuously grow and develop in role
