Truck Driver – Job Description

The Truck Driver is responsible for the safe, timely, and efficient transportation of goods, materials, or equipment between designated locations. The role involves operating commercial vehicles in compliance with road safety regulations, company policies, and transportation standards while ensuring cargo is delivered in excellent condition.

The Truck Driver will conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after each trip, maintain accurate delivery and vehicle records, and promptly report any mechanical issues, accidents, or delays. They are responsible for loading and unloading cargo where required, securing loads to prevent damage during transit, and verifying delivery documentation.

The ideal candidate demonstrates excellent driving skills, a strong commitment to safety, reliability, and professionalism. They should possess good knowledge of road networks, defensive driving practices, and vehicle maintenance procedures while ensuring compliance with all applicable traffic laws and company operational guidelines.

Requirements
