JOB SUMMARY
The Fuel Station Manager is responsible for the efficient and profitable operation of a fuel service station. This role oversees daily station operations, staff management, customer service, fuel inventory control, safety compliance, financial reporting, and asset management, ensuring smooth functioning and high service standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Manager shall…
a. Receives and discharges fuel into the underground tank
b. Calculate daily sales by taking readings from the meters.
c. Measure daily stock levels and compare deep sales with meter sales.
d. Collects cash from sales at the Filling Station and keep it safely.
e. Records in a ledger daily sales, expenses, and other relevant information in a ledger
f. Undertakes banking duties
g. Ensure that regulations issued by the authorities are adhered to
h. Ensure the safety of personnel and equipment at Filling Station at all times
i. Correct, direct, and control human activities and processes at the filling station
j. Shall be the head of personnel at the outlet and supervise the duties of his subordinates
k. Maintain discipline at all times
l. Shall act as sales and marketing representative and prospect for new customers and fuel sales business opportunities
m. Handles the concerns of dissatisfied customers
DO’s and Dont’s
n. Shall show respect to the Dealer, Company Official, Officials of Regulatory Bodies, and his subordinates
o. Shall respond to calls from the Company’s Officers at all times
p. Shall not conduct his personal business on the premises
q. Shall not use company facilities to receive, store, or sell products of another supplier
r. Shall not adulterate fuel consign to the Filling Station with foreign materials
s. Shall not appropriate for himself assets, interest, or benefits due to the Company
t. Shall not connive with a second or third party to harm the interest of the company
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
a. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
b. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in retail fuel operations or related industry.
c. Experience in staff supervision and customer service.
d. Strong understanding of fuel management, retail operations, and safety practices
