The Role
We are looking for an energetic and dedicated Special Needs Preschool Teacher. This is a hands-on role that requires a unique blend of classroom management, emotional empathy, and physical vitality. You will be responsible for ensuring our students meet their developmental milestones while maintaining a safe, fun, and inclusive environment.
- Key ResponsibilitiesActive Instruction: Lead daily lessons and high-energy outdoor activities. You must have the physical stamina to run, play, and engage with children aged 3–8 throughout the day.
- Goal Achievement: Work systematically to achieve specific learning and developmental goals for each student.
- Progress Tracking: Assess student progress daily and prepare reports for school management and parents.
- Communication: Conduct regular progress discussions with parents to ensure a consistent support system at home.
- Support & Safety: Provide behavioral and social-emotional support while ensuring all classroom activities meet safety and regulatory standards.
- Qualifications & RequirementsEducation: Minimum of a Diploma graduate or higher.
- Experience: Proven experience in special needs teaching/education.
- Mindset: A team player who is "willing to learn" and looking for a stable, long-term career.
- Personal Traits: High levels of patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for neurodivergent learners.
- Location: Residing in or near West Legon is a significant advantage.
- Certification: Professional certification or licensure in Special Education is a plus.
