Role Description The ShortLets Portfolio Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Accra, responsible for overseeing and optimizing a portfolio of short-term rental properties. The role involves managing day-to-day property performance, including pricing, occupancy, and guest experience, while ensuring listings are accurate and attractive across online platforms. The Portfolio Manager will monitor revenue, costs, and market trends, coordinate with owners and service providers, and ensure timely resolution of maintenance or guest issues. This role also includes analyzing booking data, recommending investment and expansion opportunities, and implementing strategies to enhance portfolio profitability and brand reputation.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills to interpret performance data, identify trends, and support data-driven decisions.
- Knowledge of finance principles to manage budgets, monitor revenue, and understand cost structures.
- Experience or training in portfolio management to oversee multiple properties and optimize overall returns.
- Understanding of investments and trading concepts to evaluate property investment opportunities and market dynamics.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills for collaborating with property owners, vendors, and guests.
- Organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple listings, bookings, and operational tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency with property management or reservation systems and common office software tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Real Estate, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Prior experience in hospitality, real estate, or property management in Accra or similar markets is an advantage.
