Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to play a critical role in translating business needs into clear, actionable requirements for our engineering and product teams. You will work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, QA, and Operations to ensure solutions are well-defined, scalable, compliant, and delivered with precision. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complex systems, enjoys working with APIs, data flows, and edge cases, and can bring structure and clarity to fast-moving product teams.
Key Responsibilities
Discovery & Solution Design
- Lead requirement discovery sessions with business and technical stakeholders
- Validate problem statements and challenge assumptions where necessary
- Translate strategic initiatives into well-scoped, prioritized requirements
- Propose solution options with clear trade-offs (cost, complexity, risk
Requirements Ownership
- Own requirements end-to-end from discovery through delivery and validation
- Produce high-quality:
- Epics and user stories
- Functional and non-functional requirements
- Acceptance criteria and edge-case definitions
- Ensure stories are development- and test-ready before sprint commitment
Platform & Technical Analysis
- Analyze and document system interactions, APIs, data flows, and event-driven processes
- Define validation rules, error handling, reconciliation logic, and reporting requirements
- Ensure non-functional requirements such as performance, scalability, security, and compliance are clearly define
Delivery & Quality Leadership
- Act as a key partner to Engineering and QA throughout delivery
- Ensure delivered solutions meet business intent and technical expectations
- Identify risks early and drive mitigation actions
- Support UAT planning and execution for complex feature
Stakeholder & Team Leadership
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops and alignment sessions
- Manage complex stakeholder expectations and conflicting priorities
- Mentor and guide junior Business Analysts
- Establish and uphold standards for requirements quality and documentatio
Requirements
- 7+ years experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 3 years in a Senior or Lead BA role
- Proven experience working on complex, multi-system platforms
- Strong background in:
- Agile / Scrum delivery environments
- API-based and data-driven systems
- Ability to operate confidently with senior stakeholders and technical leaders
- Exceptional analytical, facilitation, and communication skill
Nice to Have
- Experience in fintech, payments, loyalty, or regulated platforms
- Familiarity with microservices and event-driven architectures
- Experience mentoring or leading BA practices
- Working knowledge of SQL or data analysis
- Exposure to cloud-native platforms (AWS preferred
