Key Responsibilities:
1. Planning & Programme Support
- Develop construction programmes in alignment with project goals and performance targets.
- Provide weekly progress updates with Project Managers.
- Support baselines, final cost allocations, and method statements.
- Identify and escalate project risks early.
2. Tender & Control Documentation
- Prepare tender and contract documentation, including Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
- Draft and compile BOQs for all assigned projects.
- Maintain clear and well-organized financial and project documentation.
3. Estimates, Budgets & Tenders
- Prepare detailed project estimates and tender documentation.
- Create early-stage cost plans for ongoing and new projects.
4. Cost Monitoring & Financial Control
- Track construction costs against approved budgets.
- Conduct routine financial reviews, cost reports, and variance analysis.
- Recommend cost-saving and value-engineering measures.
5. Subcontract Administration & Procurement Support
- Draft and manage subcontract agreements.
- Support procurement processes and supplier documentation.
- Verify monthly subcontractor certificates and update payment registers.
6. Work Valuation, Variations & Final Accounts
- Value completed works and review interim applications.
- Evaluate variations and prepare final accounts for completed projects.
7. Contract Awareness & Best Practice
- Maintain strong working knowledge of contract requirements and construction standards.
8. Plant Usage & Cost Control
- Track contractor-hired plant usage.
- Process variations and claims accurately and on time.
9. Documentation & Records
- Support Daily Diary reviews and verify subcontractor works for claims/payment.
Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bacherlors Degree in Quantity Surveying (Minimum), Construction Technology, Building Economics, or related field.
- Experience in cost planning, BOQs, tendering, and construction cost control (consultancy or contractor background).
- Solid understanding of contract administration, valuation, and variations.
Technical Skills
- Strong BOQ preparation, estimating, and cost reporting.
- Proficiency in QS tools and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong documentation skills (tenders, payment certificates, registers).
- Knowledge of construction contracts & procurement processes.

- High attention to detail and strong numerical accuracy.
- Strong planning, prioritisation, and deadline discipline.
- Clear communication with site teams, subcontractors, and management.
- Ability to identify cost risks early and propose solutions.
