Senior It Technical Support Specialist

About the job

Carry out the design, implementation and maintenance of the organization's IT infrastructure including managing servers, networks, storage systems and other critical IT systems to ensure optimal performance, security and availability.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, implement and maintain server, network and storage infrastructure to support the organization's IT needs.
• Oversee the day-to-day administration and monitoring of IT systems, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, policies, and documentation for IT systems.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies, software, and hardware to improve IT efficiency and productivity.
• Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure critical IT systems and data are protected.
• Ensure IT systems comply with relevant security standards, regulations, and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the organization's IT requirements and align IT solutions accordingly.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and technologies to recommend and implement improvements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3 years preferred in factory environment.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills under pressure.
• Excellent customer service & stakeholder communication.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple incidents.
• Process-oriented with ITIL mindset.
• Proactive in identifying recurring issues and proposing fixes.
• Extensive experience with server, network, and storage technologies (e.g., Windows Server, Linux, VMware, Cisco, NetApp)
• Proven expertise in managing and troubleshooting complex IT infrastructures.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve technical issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with IT security best practices and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Project management skills to lead and coordinate IT initiatives.
