Senior Investment Officer

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct research on listed equities on the Ghana Stock Exchange to guide the Company’s investment decisions.
• Update and analyse financial statements of companies for investment purposes.
• Provide daily updates on prices of equities listed on the Ghana Stock Exchange.
• Contribute to financial research for the production and publication of the Company’s weekly market research reports.
• Ensure all KYC and regulatory requirements for clients are complete and up to date.
• Assist in marketing and business development activities of the Company.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual reports for clients, regulators and management.
• Attend to client enquiries and complaints professionally and promptly.
• Deliver presentations eloquently and confidently to clients, management and stakeholders.
• Provide support for investment-related activities as may be directed by Management.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Head of Department, immediate supervisor or the CEO from time to time.

Qualification & Experience

• A licensed Investment Advisor from the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC)
• Professional certification from the Ghana Investment and Securities Institute (GISI) or the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE).
• An MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification will be an added advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
• Relevant experience in investment analysis, financial markets or portfolio management.
• Strong understanding of the Ghana Stock Exchange and capital markets.
• Proficiency in financial analysis and report writing.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• High level of professionalism, integrity and attention to detail.
