About The Role
A leading investment bank is looking to hire an experienced Sales Trader to join its team. The role is suited for candidates with strong experience in capital markets, particularly in equities and fixed income trading, as well as institutional client relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
• Execute buy and sell trades on behalf of institutional, corporate and private clients
• Identify and originate trading opportunities and market flow
• Monitor market, macroeconomic and investment trends
• Maintain relationships with brokers, regulators, portfolio managers and other market participants
• Ensure trades are executed in line with GSE and SEC regulations
• Support business development efforts and growth of the trading franchise
Requirements
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in securities trading or capital markets
• Strong understanding of equities, fixed income, FX and broader financial markets
• Strong commercial mindset and institutional client-facing experience
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills
Ideal candidates are likely to come from:
Brokerage firms, investment banks, asset management firms, treasury/markets desks, or related capital markets environments.
