Sales and Marketing Coordinator
Job summary
To support the Sales and Marketing Department of Labadi Beach Hotel by coordinating sales activities, marketing initiatives, client communications, and internal stakeholder engagement to drive room nights, banquet revenue, corporate business and brand visibility in line with the hotel’s revenue and service standards.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare quotations, contracts, proforma invoices, and corporate rate agreements.
- Ensure that relationship is managed Between the designated client portfolio and our company in order to generate maximum revenue potential as per the key Account Management Strategy
- Conducts the predetermined goal of face-to-face client contacts per week in accordance with the quantity, direction and quality of the department’s operational standards.
- Coordinate daily sales activities for rooms, banquets, conferences, and special events.
- Maintains a high level of security, by not divulging any information relating to Hotel’s customers or the affairs, finances or matters pertaining to the company.
- Support execution of marketing campaigns and promotions.
- Assist with social media and digital promotions by ensuring that all promotional activities are advertised on all platforms and in-house a month before the main event.
- Conduct basic market and competitor analysis.
- Conducts in-depth customer interviews, face-to-face calls and develop quarterly action plans, with clearly defined sales call objectives for each of the above priorities, as appropriate. This includes analyzing the strength and relationship with each company or agent and prioritizing activity.
- Maintain corporate and event client databases.
- Liaise with Finance on billing and credit approvals.
- Organize and accompany as necessary, new and existing clients for educational, entertainment events, and event co-ordination meetings.
- Maintains a high level of security, by not divulging any information relating to Hotel’s customers or the affairs, finances or matters pertaining to the company.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
- Coordinate branding and promotional materials.
- Handle client correspondence and feedback.
- Ensure proper documentation and filing.
- Liaise with internal departments for service delivery.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field
- Minimum of 3 - 4 years’ experience in hotel sales or marketing coordination
- Experience in a 4 or 5-star hotel environment is an advantage
