Role Description The Reporter role at Harp System is a full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Accra Region, Ghana. The Reporter will gather information on internal and external business activities, conduct interviews with stakeholders, and produce clear, accurate news and feature articles about Harp System’s projects, insights, and industry trends. Day-to-day responsibilities include researching topics related to operational consulting, attending meetings and events, verifying facts, and developing multimedia content such as photos, short videos, or audio clips to support written reports. The Reporter will collaborate with consultants and leadership to translate complex operational findings into accessible stories for internal and external audiences, and will work closely with communications and marketing teams to ensure consistent messaging across channels.
Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Reporting and News Writing skills for creating accurate, timely, and engaging coverage.
  • Candidates should possess excellent Writing and Communication skills to convey complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Candidates should possess Multimedia skills, including basic proficiency in photography, video, or audio production for content support.
  • Candidates should have strong research, interviewing, and fact-checking abilities to ensure credibility and depth in all reports.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Ability to work on-site in the Greater Accra Region, Ghana, and collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Strong editorial judgment, attention to detail, and adherence to ethical reporting standards.
  • Familiarity with business, operations, or consulting topics is an advantage, as is experience creating content for digital platforms.
