Programme Assistant – Digital Futures (Accra)
We are looking for a Programme Assistant to provide administrative, coordination, and operational support for the delivery of our Digital Futures Programme in Ghana. This is a hands-on role supporting partner coordination, logistics, reporting and documentation, and the collection of learning and communication materials—helping ensure timely, high-quality results.
What you’ll do
- Coordinate programme administration and support day-to-day communication across teams and partners.
- Support preparation of reports, updates and partner submissions for internal and donor audiences.
- Help plan and deliver trainings, workshops and stakeholder engagements (logistics, materials, accessibility, evaluations).
- Support basic financial administration with partners, including tracking expenditure and supporting budgeting/forecasting processes.
- Maintain clear programme documentation and evidence on SharePoint.
- Support ethical collection of case studies, stories and photos, ensuring informed consent and safeguarding.
- Identify and escalate operational/contextual risks; support data protection and do-no-harm approaches.
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant area (e.g., development, social sciences, human rights, gender, information systems, public policy, or similar).
- Evidence in your CV/application of supporting programme/project delivery (e.g., coordination, logistics, tracking actions, documentation, or partner follow-up).
- Strong organisation, coordination and communication skills; confidence working with diverse stakeholders.
- Comfort with digital tools and systems (MS Office/Excel, online meetings, messaging, online forms).
- Commitment to inclusion, equality and safeguarding (including data protection and do-no-harm).
- Experience and/or connection with OPDs and disability inclusion is an asset.
