Role : Oracle – SOA, OSB, MFT and WebCenter application Developer/Administrator:
Key Responsibilities
• Integration: Hands-on experience in integrating OSB with databases (Oracle, SQL Server), ERP systems, and external services.
• Fault Handling: Knowledge of error handling and fault recovery in OSB, including building robust fault-tolerant services.
• Security: Understanding of WS-Security, authentication, authorization, and data encryption for securing services. Implement and maintain security policies, SSL certificates, and user access controls.
• Development Tools: Proficiency in using JDeveloper, Eclipse, or other development tools to configure and manage
• Strong knowledge of HTTP, JMS, JDBC, and other communication protocols
• Application Servers – Working experience with Applications Server preferably Oracle WebLogic 12c and above
• Install and configure -Install, configure, and administer Oracle components- OSB, MFT, WebCenter Portal and WebCenter Content environments. Configure clustering, load balancing, and high availability
• Design and develop integration services using Oracle Service Bus (OSB): proxy/business services, pipelines, mediations, and transformations.
• Implement and manage Oracle MFT solutions for partner file exchanges, including SFTP/FTPS/HTTPS endpoints, scheduling, and automation
• Develop transformation logic using XML, XSLT, XQuery, and implement WSDL/SOAP and REST interfaces.
• Secure file transfers: configure encryption, key management, certificates, and compliance controls.
• Deploy and operate integrations on Oracle WebLogic; participate in patching, upgrades, Manage deployments and migrations
• Document designs, runbooks, and handovers; collaborate with architects, security, and operations teams
• Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity; implement tuning and optimization.
• Troubleshooting all Oracle -WebLogic Server, OSB, MFT, WebCenter Portal, WebCenter content and Fusion Middleware issues and provide root cause analysis.
• Documentation: Maintain documentation, disaster recovery plans, and backup strategies.
• Support: Provide 24/7 support for production environments when required.
• Knowledge of Micro servers and converting legacy services to micros services via REST
• Version Management - Basic knowledge of Version Control systems like SVN, GIT, Bit-Bucket etc.
• CI/CD & DevOps Should be familiar with using Jenkins, Git, etc.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3 – 7 years of Hands-on experience with Oracle -WebLogic Server, OSB, MFT, WebCenter Portal, WebCenter content and Fusion Middleware.
• Strong knowledge of XML/XSLT/XQuery, WSDL, SOAP, REST, and Java
• Familiarity with Oracle Database and SQL/PLSQL , secure transfer protocols (SFTP, FTPS), encryption, and certificate management
• SQL/PLSQL experience and ability to integrate with Oracle Database.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins, Maven) and basic Linux/Unix administration.
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix environments and scripting.
• Experience with monitoring tools (OEM, Nagios, Splunk) and performance tuning.
• Understanding of networking, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Prefer Oracle certification in OWC/OSB/MFT.
• Experience with cloud integrations (Oracle Cloud, OCI, AWS) and API management.
• Exposure to event-driven architecture and messaging (Kafka, JMS).
