Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Chef/Cook to manage daily meal preparation for a residence based in the Ahafo Region. The successful candidate will be responsible for menu planning, preparing, and serving meals daily, while maintaining high standards of hygiene, food safety, and kitchen organization. This is a live-in role, ideal for someone who is adaptable, disciplined, and experienced in cooking for a private family in a structured environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve two meals daily including snacks
• Plan balanced, nutritious, and varied menus
• Cater to dietary requirements and preferences where necessary
• Ensure strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and storage areas
• Monitor food quality and portion control
• Minimize food waste and manage kitchen costs efficiently

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Chef or Cook (minimum 3–5 years preferred)
• Experience cooking in residential settings is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of local and continental dishes
• Ability to plan meals and manage kitchen operations independently
• Good understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
• Physically fit and able to work in a remote environment
• Strong organizational and time management skills
