To drive the marketing and commercial growth of VDL Fulfilment Ltd by expanding the company’s vendor and client base, developing strategic partnerships, and strengthening long-term relationships with e-commerce businesses, while positioning VDL as a trusted fulfilment partner.

Responsibilites:
- Develops and executes structured business development initiatives aimed at increasing vendor acquisition and strengthening the company’s market presence within the e-commerce ecosystem;
- Drives the expansion of the company’s fulfilment client base by identifying, engaging, and converting high-potential e-commerce businesses requiring warehousing, packaging, and last-mile delivery services;
- Positions VDL as a preferred fulfilment partner;
- Identifying emerging trends within digital commerce that present opportunities for the company to expand its fulfilment offerings;
- Negotiates and formalises commercial agreements with vendors and ensures alignment with the company’s operational capabilities;
- Oversees vendor engagement initiatives aimed at increasing vendor retention and operational efficiency;
- Continuously evaluates vendor performance to identify underperforming vendors and implements appropriate actions to improve performance or reassess the partnership;
- Oversees the onboarding and integration of new vendors accordance with company policies;
- Collects and analyses vendor feedback regarding fulfilment services and communicates insights to management for service improvement;
- Develops and owns VDL's marketing strategy across all channels including digital, social, partnerships, and direct outreach;
- Build and manage the VDL Marketplace initiative to drive vendor onboarding and customer acquisition;
- Leads and manages digital/social media marketing initiatives by planning, executing, and optimising advertising campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, SMS, and other direct digital channels to drive marketplace traffic;
- Assigns duties to and monitors activities of team members to ensure achievement of performance standards;
- Identifies the training needs of immediate team members and organizes or recommends appropriate training for them;
- Assesses the performance of immediate team members;
- Administers discipline affecting immediate team members in accordance with the company’s disciplinary code and procedure.
- Performs any other official duties that may be assigned from time to time.
