Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Drive business development by identifying, pursuing, and closing new client opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate organizations, government agencies, and institutional partners.
  • Develop and implement integrated marketing strategies across digital and offline platforms.
  • Lead proposal development, contract negotiations, and bid submissions.
  • Track, analyse, and report on sales and marketing performance metrics to measure Return On Investment.
  • Collaborate with leadership on strategic initiatives, including market expansion, new service offerings, and cross-functional projects.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, financial standards, and data privacy requirements.
  • Manage client contracts and negotiations to secure and sustain successful partnerships.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or related field (master’s degree is an advantage).
  • Minimum of 5 years’ proven experience in marketing and business development, ideally within education, training, or capacity-building institutions.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and techniques.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to effectively manage small teams.


Note:

  • The ideal candidate should possess a bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field, and must have a minimum of three (3) years’ experience within the training and career development sector. 
  • The candidate should also demonstrate a proven track record of measurable revenue growth and successful client acquisition.
  • We would also like to reiterate our preference for candidates with prior experience in the corporate training industry
