Locum Physician Assistant At Volta River Authority (akosombo, Aboadze And Accra)

The Volta River Authority invites applications from suitably qualified Ghanaians for the above position on LOCUM Basis.
Job Function
Provide general medical services in the Akosombo, Accra and Aboadze Hospitals of the Health Service Department.

• Provide general medical services to clients
• Run Normal/Standby/Shift duties
• Be responsible for filling in correctly insurance claim forms
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Hospital Superintendent
  

Remuneration: In accordance with VRA's compensation policy on locum
Qualification Required & Experience

• Must hold certificate in Physician Assistantship
• Must have 2 years post qualification experience
• Completion of Internship/National Service
• Knowledge in industrial safety
  

In Addition The Candidate Must

• Communication and Interpersonal skills
• Knowledge in patient counselling and education
• Be Computer Literate
• Have demonstrated ability to provide leadership and guidance to staff
• Be a team player, a good negotiator, with demonstrated ability to motivate staff and encouraged participation in decision-making process
• Have a strong analytical, supervisory, interpersonal and communication skills
• Be energetic, proactive, dedicated, performance-driven and capable of working under stress
