Lead Instructor

Amarante Consulting is seeking an experienced Training Lead / Master Trainer for an upcoming assignment in Ghana for strengthening climate-resilient agri-finance for women smallholder farmers.

Key responsibilities :

• Develop and lead a single integrated training plan spanning climate risk screening, digital loan origination workflows, and green agricultural finance products.
• Design and deliver Training-of-Trainers (ToT) sessions at HQ, building a cadre of certified internal trainers.
• Deliver regional trainings and on-the-job coaching to branch-level staff across five pilot branches.
• Produce training packages, facilitator guides, session plans, and training completion reports.
• Align training delivery with the pilot rollout calendar, ensuring branch-level workload stays manageable during the integrated pilot phase.

Desired profile :

We are looking for an expert with:

• At least 8 years of experience designing and delivering training for financial institution staff and/or rural field teams.
• Demonstrated expertise in Training-of-Trainers (ToT), coaching, and adult learning methodologies.
• Must be based in Ghana.
• Experience producing curricula, facilitator guides, session plans, and training evaluation tools.
• Familiarity with agricultural finance, microfinance, or rural banking operations strongly preferred.
• Experience training frontline/branch-level staff in a financial institution context.
• Comfort working across multiple technical areas (climate risk tools, digital workflows, green finance products) within a single coordinated training programme.
• Excellent facilitation, coaching, and reporting skills.
• Degree in education, adult learning, social sciences, agribusiness, finance, or a related field.
