Job summary
A reputable Facility Management company is seeking a creative, skilled, and experienced Landscape Designer to design, plan, and oversee the development and maintenance of aesthetically pleasing and functional outdoor spaces.
Job descriptions & requirements
- Develop creative landscape designs and concepts for residential, commercial, and other projects.
- Prepare landscape plans, drawings, layouts, and design proposals.
- Conduct site visits and assessments to understand project requirements and site conditions.
- Select suitable plants, trees, materials, and other landscape elements.
- Prepare project specifications, cost estimates, and material requirements.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
- Supervise the implementation of landscape projects to ensure designs are executed according to approved plans.
- Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed within the required timelines and quality standards.
- Ensure proper maintenance and sustainability of landscaped areas.
- Prepare and submit project updates and reports to management.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards.
- Stay updated on current landscape design trends, materials, and sustainable practices.
- HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, Environmental Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in landscape design or a related role.
- Proficiency in landscape design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, or other relevant design tools.
- Good knowledge of plants, horticulture, landscaping materials, and construction techniques.
- Strong creativity and design skills.
- Ability to interpret architectural and technical drawings.
