Junior Accountant – Ghana Project

Job Summary
Hari Agro Industries / HAI is looking for a Junior Accountant for its Ghana Project. The candidate will support day-to-day accounting, documentation, reconciliations, and basic financial reporting.
This role is suitable for candidates with 1–2 years of accounting experience. Freshers with strong accounting knowledge, good Excel skills, and willingness to learn may also apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain daily accounting entries and financial records.
- Assist with bank, vendor, and customer reconciliations.
- Support invoice processing, payment records, and expense documentation.
- Assist in preparing basic financial reports and audit-related documents.
- Maintain proper filing of bills, vouchers, receipts, and supporting documents.
- Coordinate with internal teams for accounting and payment-related follow-ups.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in accounting or finance preferred.
- Freshers with relevant accounting knowledge may also apply.
- Good understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Proficiency in MS Excel is required.
- Knowledge of accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, Zoho Books, or similar systems will be an advantage.
Preferred Skills
- Basic accounting and bookkeeping knowledge.
- Good Excel and data entry skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of reconciliations and financial documentation.
- Willingness to learn and work with the finance team.
Accountabilities
- Maintain accurate accounting records.
- Complete assigned accounting tasks on time.
- Keep financial documents properly organized.
- Report errors or missing information to seniors.
- Maintain confidentiality of company financial data.
