2. Job Purpose:

The IT Support is responsible for managing, supporting, and maintaining the organization’s information technology systems and infrastructure. This includes installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of hardware, software, networks, and security systems to ensure smooth business operations and most of all good team player.

3. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain hardware.
• Install and support access control and surveillance monitoring equipment.
• Ensure data security through regular updates, backups, and access controls.
• Manage and monitor operating systems, applications, and IT infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues for end users.
• Perform the required task assigned by the supervisor. 
• Follow up daily tasks.
• Send reports regarding daily performance, updates and system changes.
• Conduct testing following the procedures and standards set by the company.

4. Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Good time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, tickets and to delegate them when appropriate.
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.

Technical Skills:

• Operating Systems: Windows Server, Linux.
• Managing Active Directory (AD).
• Networking: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, routing/switching basics.
• Fiber optic splicing, termination, and testing.
• Handling and installing SFP/SFP+ transceivers for fiber and copper connections.
• Structure cabling (LAN, fiber, patch panels, and server racks).
• Security: endpoint protection, access control, patch management.
• Scripting & Automation: PowerShell, Bash, Python (for task automation).
• Work with Microsoft Office Word & Excel.
