It Officer

Role : IT Officer (Company based in Ghana)
Responsibilities

• ERP (Navision and Business Central):
• Ensuring that all necessary data procedures for the smooth running of the Navision Software is processed correctly according to agreed standards.
• Candidate should be well versed in Microsoft Business Central (BC) and/or Navision 2016 administration, configuration, user support, reporting, and system maintenance
• Technical support, troubleshooting etc
• Documentation:
• Maintaining a user handbook and an online help section for Navision Data entry users.
• Servers Maintenance:
• Server monitoring and maintenance (Windows platform)
• Networking:
• Network configuration and troubleshooting for Local Network, VPN
• Ability to ensure good functioning and configurations of routers, switches and firewall.
• Domain, DNS, Hosting and IT infrastructure support
• Security:
• Work with Consultant to develop roles for Navision and Business Central
• ensure that the roles developed are implemented correctly for users throughout Ghana
• EMAIL Server:
• Email server setup and configuration
• Backup & Storage:
• Ensuring backup configuration and monitoring for all our serves whether local or cloud based.
• Technical Support:
• At both software and hardware level: Office, ERP, SQL, Printers, scanners, POS…
• Coordination with third party IT suppliers and Navision consultants.
• Training:
• Ensure proper training on Navision processes according to employees’ profile
  

Qualifications

• At least 3 years Navision experience - It is must
• Consistently follows through on commitments
• Good Communication skills
• Willingness to work weekends & propensity to learn & grow
