We are currently recruiting for two internship positions:

1. Customer Success & Operations Intern

This role is ideal for someone interested in customer experience, business operations, and supporting the successful delivery of technology solutions. The intern will assist with customer onboarding, relationship management, operational processes, and ensuring customers receive a positive experience with Venta POS.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the onboarding of new customers.
• Conduct customer follow-ups and assist with relationship management.
• Respond to customer enquiries and escalate technical issues where necessary.
• Maintain accurate customer records and operational documentation.
• Support daily business operations and internal processes.
• Collect customer feedback and identify opportunities to improve customer experience.
• Coordinate with the Business Development team to ensure smooth customer handover.
• Assist with operational reporting and process improvements.

2. Social Media Marketing Intern

This role is ideal for someone who is creative, digitally minded, and interested in building brands through content creation and online engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and schedule engaging content across Rootech’s social media platforms.
• Design graphics and promotional materials using Canva or similar tools.
• Create short-form videos and digital marketing content.
• Support online marketing campaigns and brand awareness activities.
• Monitor social media performance and prepare marketing reports.
• Analyse engagement, reach, audience growth, and content performance.
• Research market trends and competitor activities.
• Support digital initiatives that generate awareness and customer interest.

General Requirements

Candidates should:

• Have some practical experience or strong interest in the role they are applying for.
• Be pursuing or have completed a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Information Technology, Management, or a related field.
• Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be organised, proactive, and willing to learn.
• Be able to work independently and collaborate effectively.
• Have good problem-solving and time management skills.
• Be comfortable using digital tools and workplace productivity software.

Additional Requirements

Customer Success & Operations Intern

• Experience in customer service, administration, operations, or a related area is an advantage.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Social Media Marketing Intern

• Experience using Canva and other content creation tools.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and basic analytics.
• Understanding of content planning and digital engagement is an advantage.

Internship Structure & Career Opportunity

This is a 3-month paid internship programme designed to provide hands-on experience, professional development, and exposure to real business operations.

Interns will receive structured onboarding, training, mentorship, and practical experience while contributing to meaningful business activities within Rootech.

Based on individual performance, business requirements, and available opportunities, successful interns may be considered for:

• Transition into National Service opportunities with Rootech (where applicable).
• Full-time employment opportunities within the company.
• Increased responsibilities and career growth opportunities.

Continuation beyond the internship period is not guaranteed and will be based on performance, business needs, and company requirements.
